Build the "Flawless Safari" Itinerary with itrvl
Follow this step by step walk through to build out a "Flawless Safari" with itrvl
itrvl is an all-in-one booking platform that allows travel agents to be more efficient throughout every step of the booking process. itrvl allows you to:

Follow along with us and build your first itrvl itinerary in a few easy steps.
Create a client
1. Create your first client by selecting "Select Client" on the home screen. Type in "Easiest Client" as the first name and "Ever" as the last name.
Select itinerary start date
2. Click the drop-down titled "Start Date". Use the calendars arrows until you reach November 1, 2022.
Leave the Travelers and Rooms for now, for this exercise we will be booking a quote for 2 travelers, just to keep it simple.
Select your accommodations
3. Use the drop-down arrow to filter by Country and Region to view all of the accommodations loaded in Linyanti, Botswana.
Note: itrvl has over 2000+ accommodations across Southern and East Africa, 600+ with live availability.
4. Select the following camps: DumaTau and King's Pool. Then in the search bar type in and select Cape Grace.
5. Switch the toggle from Booking to Quote Only and then press "Check Availability". This will disregard availability for the purpose of the exercise and allow you to generate a quote and share it.
Note: When you are ready to build a live quote and find availability use the Booking mode.
6. Select bednights at each accommodation
Select two nights at DumaTau on November 1st and 2nd, two nights at King's Pool on November 3rd and 4th, and two night's at Cape Grace Hotel on November 5th and 6th.
Your screen should look as follows
7. Press "Get Quote" to quote the itinerary you have just built to be taken to the "Itinerary Details" screen.
Congratulations, you have now successfully built your first quote! Now, let's customize the itinerary before you share it.
8. Customize the itinerary name
Click the pencil icon next to the itinerary name. Currently, it should read "Botswana, South Africa adventure".
Change the Itinerary Name to "Flawless Safari" and click the green check mark to save your changes.
9. Publish the "Flawless Safari" itinerary to the "Easiest Client Ever" client portal.
Click "Publish to Client Portal" to publish the itinerary. This will begin generating your video itinerary. You will find the button near the top right corner of the "Itinerary Details" screen.
10. Now it is time to check out your first itinerary!
Click the orange button in the top right corner of your screen to go to the "Client Details Page"
Click the button titled "Share Client Portal".
A link will be copied to your computer, you will know it has been copied when the green notification pops up at the bottom of your screen.
11. Check out your client portal!
Open a new tab in your browser and paste the URL into your URL search bar. Because the share link was copied to your computer you will see a link you have not seen before pasted in the URL, this is the share link.
Note: The photo on your "Client Portal" may be different so do not be alarmed if yours doesn't show this cute hyena.
12. View your "Flawless Itinerary" in detail. Scroll down on your client portal and click "View Details" to view the "Adventure Screen".
The "Adventure Screen" lays out your itinerary in detail bringing your client from the start to the end of their trip.
Make sure to have a look at your Video Itinerary! It will take a few minutes to load, but once it does it will be loaded from then on so your client will be able to watch it immediately.
