Customizing Your Itinerary with the Presentation Editor

The Presentation Editor is a powerful tool designed to help you tailor your itineraries for clients. From editing text to rearranging photos, this feature allows you to create polished and professional presentations directly within itrvl. Follow these steps to customize your itinerary:

How to Use the Presentation Editor

1. Access the Presentation Editor; after building your itinerary, click “Check it out” in the banner at the top of the screen. You’ll be directed to Edit Itinerary 2, where you can click Presentation Editor to begin editing.

Once you have built an itinerary, click on 'Check it out' in the banner at the top of your screen.

This will take you to Edit Itinerary 2, click 'Presentation Editor'

2. Select a Segment to Edit; locate the itinerary segment you wish to customize and click on it to view all editable details.

Customize the text and photo content for each segment of your itinerary presentation within your client portal.

3. Edit Accommodation Details; update names, descriptions, daily itinerary notes, inclusions/exclusions, and room types in the accommodations section.

In the accommodations section, you have the opportunity to customize every aspect, ranging from the name and description of the accommodation to the daily itinerary notes, inclusions/exclusions, and the name of the room type.

4. Customize Photos; rearrange images by dragging and dropping, upload your own photos, or select a featured image by moving it to the first position. To hide a photo, click the “eye icon”.

You can customize text for any item and rearrange photos. Choose a featured photo or upload your own photos.

5. Hide Lines from Clients; use the “Visibility” dropdown to hide specific lines in the itinerary by selecting “Not Visible”.

With the presentation editor, you can now hide ANY line in your itinerary from the client. Simply click on the 'Visibility' dropdown at the bottom of the screen and choose 'Not Visible'.

6. Add Details to Flights and Transfers; enhance these segments with detailed notes and review how they appear in the client portal.

Be sure to check out all the details you can add for flight and road transfer segments, and see how they appear in your client portal!

7. Save Your Changes; ensure all edits are saved before navigating away from the editor.

Save your changes after making edits to any written content!

8. Return to Edit Itinerary 2; click “Back to Itinerary” to exit the Presentation Editor and return to the main itinerary editing screen.

Once you have made your desired changes, click the 'Back to Itinerary' button which will bring you back to Edit Itinerary 2.

9. Retrieve the Share Link; go to “Client Details” to access and share the final itinerary with your client.

From here navigate to Client Details to get back to your itinerary where you can get the share link!
