Traditionally building an itinerary for clients can be a lengthy process that requires multiple iterations just to get something in front of your client. itrvl grants you the ability to create live itineraries from over 2000 accommodations across Southern and East Africa in a matter of minutes. The itinerary builder is where the magic of itrvl begins! 

Create a Client

Start by creating a client. Click the client button on the left side of the home screen and fill out your client details. A first and last name are the only required fields.

Select Start Date and Traveller Configuration

Next, pick the dates your client is expecting to travel and the number of travelers in their party. 

Note: You will be able to adjust this in the following step.

Selecting Accommodations 

Now that you have created a client you can start building an itinerary. Click on the custom builder to access over 2000 accommodations to include in your itinerary. 

Utilize itrvl's different filters and search options: 

• Filter and search by country 
• Filter and search by region 
• Filter and search by live availability, on request, or both (we suggest both)
• Search by hotel/lodge name 

To select the accommodation you would like to add to your itinerary click the check box next to the accommodation name. Select as many lodges/accommodations as you would like.

You will then see it populate in the My Selections section. 

itrvl Pro Tip: Select as many lodges as you would like. Choose your primary, secondary etc., options to compare availability all at once. Just in case there is no availability for your first choice.

Notice the toggle at the bottom of the screen. The toggle represents wether the itinerary with be solely for the purpose of quoting or to hold space and eventually book. itrvl will default all itineraries to Booking— as represented in the example above. 

If you are not looking for availability change the toggle to Quote Only. 

• This disregards availability and shows all accommodations as available (as long as it is not closed for the dates you are viewing). 

When you are ready to begin building out your itinerary, click 'Check Availability' to take you to the itrvl availability calendar.
