Picture this, you have the perfect itinerary built and you're about to hold space, there's just one problem— your client changed their mind and would like to stay at a different accommodation for a few bed nights. With itrvl's new Swap Accommodation function agents can now switch out accommodations and check availability all in one place.  

Swapping Accommodations in your Quote

Once you have built a quote you may want to adjust the camps and dates you originally chose. Through our Modify function you will be able to switch out an accommodation in a quote as long as it has availability. 

1. To swap an accommodation in a quote simply select the Modify button in the top right corner of the Itinerary Details page.

2. Select the middle icon in the Modify modal titled Modify Bednights/Accommodations

3. You will then see the accommodations in your quote presented as line items. Select Swap Accommodation on the desired accommodation you would like to switch out to check the availability of potential replacement options. 

4. Much like the accommodations selector, you are able to search and select as many accommodations as you would like to check availability for. Click Check Availability to continue to the availability selector. 

5. You will see all of the accommodations you selected appear under the accommodation you would like to replace as well as their availability. If there is not availability for both bednights then you will not be able to select the accommodation. Select an accommodation with available bednights and click Confirm Changes at the bottom of the screen. 

6. A pop-up will appear noting the accommodations and bednights that you have selected to swap. Click save to update your itinerary!
