Sending Clients a Detailed Payment Receipt and Booking Breakdown After Completing Their Trip Payment
Utilizing the Booking Confirmation Document
Selling a safari involves many steps, and communicating changes to a client after confirming their trip can be challenging without clear documentation. With itrvl’s Booking Confirmation document, you can send clients itemized invoices that break down payments as the trip is confirmed, helping clients feel more comfortable completing each payment. This feature allows agents to provide clear, updated invoices throughout the booking process.

What is a Booking Confirmation Document?
A Booking Confirmation is a detailed invoice that provides key information about the trip. It includes:
- Trip name
- Travel dates
- Number of travelers
- Accommodations
- Agent's name
- Total trip cost
- Invoice outstanding balance
Following the key details, individual line items are displayed, outlining their status. Agents can download updated versions of the Booking Confirmation document as the client makes payments, clearly showing how much of the trip is paid and what remains outstanding.
How to Find and Download the Confirmation Invoice
Once a booking is in the Provisional status, you can download a Booking Confirmation document to send to your client, representing the current payment status of the trip.
1. Navigate to the Itinerary Details screen: Click 'Booking Document' to download the Booking Confirmation. The Booking Confirmation will automatically download to your computer as a PDF file. You can now send this file to your client.
