Changing the Start Date on Your Itinerary

itrvl makes it easy to adjust the start date of your itinerary while maintaining availability and retaining key itinerary details. Follow these steps to change the start date:

1. Access Client Details OR Open Itinerary: Navigate to the Client Details page and locate your chosen itinerary click the dropdown arrow next to it OR Open the desired itinerary and click on the dropdown arrow next to “Presentation Editor”.

 

 

2. Select 'Copy to Builder': From the options presented, click on 'Copy to Builder.'

 

3. Open the Change Start Date Pop-up: Locate and click the 'Change Start Date' button to open the pop-up calendar.

 

4. Choose a New Start Date: Use the calendar’s arrow and dropdown menu to select your new start date.

 

5. Check Availability: Once a new start date is selected, itrvl will verify availability for your itinerary. If all nights are available, the 'Generate Quote' button will be enabled.

 

6. Address Unavailability: If any nights in your itinerary are unavailable, they will be highlighted in orange. Use the 'Shift Start Date' arrows to adjust the start date one day at a time until full availability is found.

 

7. Generate a New Quote: When your new start date is available for all nights, click the 'Generate Quote' button.

 

8. Confirm Activities and Transit: A pop-up will appear asking if you’d like to retain activities and transit. Confirm your preferences.

 

9. Receive Updated Itinerary: Once confirmed, itrvl will generate a new booking reference number with the updated start date. Your itinerary is now successfully updated!
